- Hey up! And so to my second blog that will hopefully chart my route to glory in the Island Games triathlon on 6 July 2007. This picture shows how I mentally prepare myself each morning for the forthcoming day. It’s a form of ancient Chinese meditation that addresses one’s wholeness with the world and therefore one’s balance in life, which, after all, is the key to success. Defining "glory": Whether I win a medal or not, glory for me will be crossing the line knowing I could not have gone a second faster.
